What if the noncustodial parent is in another state?

No problem. Once we have located the noncustodial parent’s employment information, we can get a employers order to withhold.

How soon can you expect action on your case?

Once your application is accepted and the contract is signed, we will begin to take action.
 
What makes you different from the Texas Attorney General?

We have more incentive - we make no money if we don’t collect for you.

 What if he is self employed?

An asset search can sometimes determine what attachable property, bank accounts, etc. the absent parent may have. Also, the noncustodial parent can be summoned to court to provide proof of what assets that he/she owns and/or tax records, business records, proof of income, etc.

What if an noncustodial parent has to have a license to work?

Drivers licenses, professional licenses, hunting and fishing licenses, etc. can all be revoked because of non-payment.
 
Workman’s Compensation, Unemployment or Disability?

If the noncustodial parent is on Workman’s Compensation or Unemployment, it is attachable. Social Security, Disability, VA benefits do allow for separate benefits for the child, however these are only attachable in some circumstances.
 
What are your fees?

We charge a contingency fee based upon the facts and circumstances of your case. There is no attorney’s fee, court costs, or filing fees unless we recover money for you.

What services do I receive for the firms fees?

Our services include all processing and court filings concerning the collection of the child support or alimony, locate and investigative services, negotiations with the non-custodial parent, and working with state agencies.

Do you guarantee results?

No.  The results obtained depend on the facts of each case.
 
What about tax intercept?

The IRS will only deal with the approved child support agency. They have to download information on all absent parents to the IRS every year and if the absent parent is entitled to a refund, it will be automatically intercepted.
 
Can you take him back to court to get more support for the children?

Yes, however that is a separate service. We provide these services on an hourly rate basis. Please contact the office for more information.
 
Can you terminate an absent parent’s parental rights?

Yes, however that is a separate service. We provide these services on an hourly rate basis. Please contact the office for more information.

Can you handle the divorce?

Yes, however that is a separate service. We provide these services on an hourly rate basis. Please contact the office for more information.
 
If the money is sent directly to me, do I still owe you commission?

Yes. Regardless where the money comes from, once we have accepted the case, all monies received are commissionable. Some court orders are set up for direct payments to the custodial parent, which would go to you.
